All subjective. The Hollywood Foreign Press obviously thought she took a big enough risk to play such a role and wanted to reward her for it. And its not like Gaga's acting was shitty either. She's done a great job as the Countess. I don't think it was that subjective; I liked the Countess, but KD was much better in her part, and the part she played was well written.
