I should be happy for Gaga

I just wanted to express my opinion here. Don't bash me for stating my opinion.

I have alot of respect for Gaga trying the acting route with AHS and I'm really glad she enjoys acting. I think she did a fairly good job in AHS.

Her winning the Golden Globes last night was supposed to make me really happy for but for some reason... it didn't.

I feel like all of this is just unnatural or perhaps contrived is a better word. It feels like this is not where Gaga belongs in and that's not what she's all about.

We all know these awards shows mean nothing at the end of the day nor did her win prove that 'she won the GP back' because lets face it- the peak of the night for her was that Leo made a funny face as she bumped him.

I don't know... just thought of putting it out there. Do some of you feel the same?

I don't care much for award shows either but what makes me happy is that GaGa herself is so happy with and proud of her work.

Like Ye said, these things just exist to tell 4/5 of the best artists in the world that they're losers. It's completely natural to not like them. They stand more for the tearing down of our heroes more than they do celebrating them

The academy thought she deserved it, and their opinions are the only opinions that matter.

it makes her happy, she CAN act very well so I enjoy it and she's winning awards for it :hor:

all +'s in my book

I get what you mean when artists goes into acting or an actor (Johnny Depp) starts with music then does acting it might feel like you enjoy one more than the other it's just best to enjoy whatever little presents Gaga gives us

You're entitled to your opinion.  I, on the other hand, couldn't be happier for our Queen.  Gaga most certainly belongs there.  Are you forgetting she was an actress in high school?  Acting is not something new to Gaga so it's only natural she would want to explore her acting talent on a show like AHS.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

I would love her to get a bit more experienced before taking home big awards, but it doesn't bother me she did. Her respect and devotion to the craft is deserving enough. I do hope she truly perfects her art, because she has so much potential.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

Well I didn't have any expectations, and couldn't care about winning the award cause I love watching her on AHS and that's enough for me. But when I woke up and checked GGD and the first thing to pop up was "Gaga wins the Golden Globe" it really put a grin on my face. Her speech when getting the award is probably the most akward she's ever had. She was extremely nervous. But it's what I love about her in the first place. She is real. She is the outcast put in the spotlight. She is the hardworking artist that reaps what she sows. :flutter:

I'm very happy for her, she's a hard worker, she loves acting and I don't understand where all this negativity is coming from.

Some can't be more pressed that she won and that makes it even better tbh.

I'm happy. Not necessarily for the win itself but because it's a confidence boost for her and that will hopefully have a great impact on her new album. After The Fame Monster she probably felt on top of the world and it really shows when you look at the album that followed, Born This Way. She felt like doing something different, because she knew she could. She didn't need a billion writers and producers to feel confident about what she'd put out.

As she has admitted herself, she has been able to do what she wants in 2015 (Jazz, acting, covers, TIHTY) and received a lot of acclaim for it. She's definitely in a good place, the perfect circumstances for a new album. I can't complain.

But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
