Bette Davis 12,742
Maybe he will finally win an Oscar now that the Queen of Awards and Talent touched him Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

RebeldeFaith 5,495
I don't see the shade here. We don't know what was happening on that table and what where they commenting to make him laugh like that. It happens that the camera was recording both of them at the same time and it wasn't the best moment for a joke. Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza? Either way, I'm so happy she won! This!

He clearly wasn't amused by her win. He was laughing at her. His reaction was sad and pathetic. Karma will bite him in the ass at the Oscars when he doesn't win one. He clearly isn't shading her though. You can see in this gif he is laughing and pointing at someone sharing a joke then Gaga bumps into him he thinks "Oops I've bumped into something" and then sees her like "Oops that was Lady Gaga trying to scoot past me to accept her award." You don't know what he was laughing at, but I think it's conspiratorial to assume he is laughing at Gaga.
LeoFameMonster 1,592
Everyone who thinks this is not shade..... well you must be wearing some nice UV sunglasses and sitting in the desert. Think about it this way: Lady Gaga wins the awards and as she walks up to collect it you don;t care enough to clap, or acknowledge her win, or her walking (because your to busy having a conversation with someone else, right in the middle of her acceptance?! shade all on its own) then you act like you have no Golden globe or award show experience and leave your arm out blocking the walkway!!!!! We all can clearly see the other guy to her left move his arm. So in conclusion Leo taught you how shade is thrown, well rudeness. Shade has more wit and more than one globe wins. I recorded the whole show and have watched this segment back several times. Leo was looking over at Will Smith and his wife and laughing at something they said or did. He gave a "whoops, my bad" expression when Gaga knocked his arm off his chair. Leo wasn't laughing at Gaga. There was no shade involved here.

A lot of people in that room had a look of shock and disgust on their faces. There was a lack of applause for her when she won and after she gave her emotional speech. Very sad and unfortunate for her.

By the time the person hugs everyone and makes their way to the stage from the top level, the clapping is over. They were two hours into the show and it was a tv award. The movie people clap nicely and then continue their convos with their best movie buds sitting around them or at their table...unless it is a minority win, like a black woman. The movie people on the floor and the big names did not have a look of disgust, they had simply done their polite clapping and we're passing time waiting for the speech part. The applause was there, just like it was for other tv awards. You are just framing this through a paranoid, critical and negative lens.
