'Be Our Guest' Season Finale discussion

I was expecting balls to the wall horror and got a sweet ending. Very disappointing, and very little Gaga. Murphy has done this in past seasons too, Murder House had a happy ending. I don't get it. Are you doing a horror series or not? I loved this season though up til this ep and will miss it.

It's the finale, why didn't they make a one-hour episode? 50 minutes for every character is just too little.

Liz and John had good endings but because too much time was dedicated to them, others' screentime was cut down. The Countess is the centerpiece and lead actress of the show, and you decided not to include her in the finale? She appeared only in two tiny scenes and what was the last one even supposed to mean?

I'm sure many people who found out Gaga winning the Golden Globe decided to watch the show for her but then got disappointed because she wasn't included in many scenes.

Also Billy Dean Howard should have just made a short cameo. I can't believe they gave her almost 15 minutes of screentime. If you're gonna give long cameos to old characters, put it in the middle of the season not the finale. The finale should be reserved for HOTEL characters.

Also it's nice to include every dead soul in the Hotel but too much screentime was given to them (I mean all those + Devil Night's murderers)

We want to see Donovan, Sally, The Countess and Ramona more.

It was okay  much less disappointing than Freak Show and Coven's finales

The Countess should've had a better wrap up imo, she was barely in the finale... that being said, her look and "jawline for days" line were absolutely perfect to end the series imo.

The finale should have been a 40-minute Countess special while wrapping everyone else up in 5-10 minutes, and we all know that's true

i liked the finale..Liz's scenes were so beautiful.i love that how Sally became a social media slut in the end :sharon: 

a little disappointed that countess showed up  barely for one minute..and that Billie dean scenes felt so long and unnecessary(i had to google who Billie dean is,almost forgot that she was in Season 1 too  )

the plot could've been better but overall it was good.

Overall, I really enjoyed Hotel. The first half of the season was not bad but the second half of the season was amazing! (minus the finale). It was gory, intense, suspenseful and heartwarming for the most part.  Gaga's acting was also quite impressive. Having said that I believe that it is far from being the best American Horror Story season, mainly because of the writing. Looking forward to season six.

I liked the season.

Still, I think they wanted to make too many things at once. Too many storylines... so they didn't get into them as deeply as in previous seasons (1, 2, 3).

Even as a AHS fan I have to say that it's always better when you look at the whole thing in once ^^ 

this, I was thinking exactly that too. In past seasons I just used to wait for it to end and then watch it in full like non-stop. It gets a lot better when you watch it at once.

I will do it in a few months, to see if my perception of the storyline and its developement changes.

I have a lot of friends who are fans of AHS, and they are mostly all waiting the season to end to watch the full season too

I've been doing that since I saw season one on TV. I saw 2 episodes and I liked it so much I searched for it online (they aired it here in Spain when it was already finished in the US). And I loved it (the best thing about this TV show)... you watch 13 episodes in a weekend and everything happens fast, and it makes a lot of sense. 

I think that by watching it weekly as it airs it can be perceived as worst because a lot is going on too fast but you have to wait a week so it makes it look... without sense. Because the storyline jumps a lot. Idk if I am explaining myself but oh well  I'm in class

yeah I've rewatched the 10 episodes of hotel when it was winter break and honestly it was much more enjoyable when you have more elements in mind...
