yASSsss 35,510
Gaga and Diane Warren did a Podcast with THR recently and it was uploaded yesterday.I feel that Many people haven't listened to this interview yet cuz no one is talking about it The most interesting part for me was when Gaga talks about her recent state and how she's making music, now that she's happy and in full control. It starts @ 49:56 For those who are too lazy to listen to this interview-here's a brief summary of the last part The Interviewer talks about her past year's achievements-collaboration with Tony Bennett,Oscar Performance and TIHTY.And then he asks her- has she changed or people are just getting to know a side of her that they didn't know before. Gaga says that she hasn't changed.it took her almost 8 years in the music industry to be in full control of everything-her money, happiness, schedule and her body. She always tried to stay true to her artistry even when some people were pulling her in a million other directions and her work always reflected that. and then she talks about how she became a doll who was trying to stay in the music industry but now she has a much more clearer view. She doesn't allow anyone to tell her where she should go,who she's going to shake hands with. She talks about the music industry, their money business and that you become a product and some people(artists)never figure it out and they get stuck in this business forever. Later she talks about Bobby, how he makes sure that she's healthy every single day, that she's happy and peaceful. She can't give her best when she's not healthy and Bobby realizes this. She needs time to do her work. The industry has changed in the past few years and everyone has a way of making their music but she's going to change the things and she's going to do it her way which is-sitting on the piano. She would call you(probably her record label?) and tell you when she's done and that's how she did her first and second record(TF and TFM). and then Diane says that that's why she's going to stay in the music industry for the next 50 years(it wasn't necessary but she praised Gags so.. ) Before listening to this interview I was quite sure that lead single is coming next month and the album in April but now i don't know when to expect LG5.She's still posting photos of herself writing songs and in this interview she clearly said that this time she's going to take her time.At this point,LG5 coming in April seems like a reach What do you guys think? Spoiler If you got some free time,do listen to the whole interview. Its amazing. Call me by your name and I'll call you by mine
Mobster 14,604
I don't want to be rude, but I've heard this a lot of times. To put things into perspective, here's something she said before ARTPOP: "I was actually going through a hard time during 'Born This Way'" ..."I was kind of insecure." "I'm feeling so positive and healed in a lot of ways and I feel really overjoyed and full of love and I'm obsessed with making things colorful and happy," .... "I think it's because I'm in a happy place so when I'm in a happy place the music is." But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
Noah 26,941
Well, it's been 2 and a half years since ARTPOP came out. She prob. started working on LG5 in the last 3 months of 2015, which means she's been working on the Album since 15 months. I am sure we'll get something in the next 4 months and the finished Album in Summer. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡

Pacify Him 9,073
Yes. We're getting a Christmas Pop album ft Mariah Carey No actually a Halloween Pop album from Gaga because she is so inspired by AHS I’m getting on your nerves

She contradicts herself a lot and she makes things sound way more complicated than they are. I know this is such an unpopular thing to say here but y'all know that is how it is. Chump 1,093
I've listened to this yesterday and I didn't see any sign of LG5 coming late this year Where did you get that from? Looking at how hard she worked last year (including recording sessions with some songs being FINISHED) I can't believe three months from now is not enough to finish the album

I don't really hold it against her. I don't expect her to share details about her personal life and how she's doing emotionally... But when she does, I don't read too much into it But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
yes and 4,884
I still believe in powerful performance at the grammys with the first single from LG5 But really we can't know - we can only wait Did you think I'd show up in a limousine? No

"I think it's because I'm in a happy place so when I'm in a happy place the music is." Obviously a straight up lie. But I guess she agreed that it was better to pretend to be excited and happy about her work than to admit that she actually felt like a puppet: for her fanbase's sake and for her own. But I agree that this story feels a bit too familiar. Every single time we're led to believe that this is going to be the authentic, free project she spilled her soul on. Though at least this time it's more believable, I recognize your suspicion O.T.: I never thought we'd get the album soon. People here like to say that Bobby is intentionally lying about the process so that we're all surprised but I don't see the benefit in that at all. You could just as easily argue that Bobby is intentionally making clear that people should be patient because this time there's no pressured time schedule. This interview, again, emphasizes that Gaga is gonna make sure this record is 100% to her liking, and there's simply no way we can know how long that is gonna take.
