Trump is running for president of the USA. He is suppose to represent all Americans. He's spreading xenophobia and islamophobia with his speeches and American Muslims have the right to protest. I don't think you are aware of the rise in hate crimes against muslims and sikhs (because they look like muslims to ignorants) after his proposal of Muslim ban and just demonizing refugees. It's easy for you to judge from Saudi Arabia, you're probably living there well and you don't have to worry if someone will call your mom rag-head or your dad sand-n***er or attack your sister in school, calling her terrorist etc. And that(and worse) is what is happening in America and Western Europe right now. That is not playing victim or whining, that is the reality for millions of muslims who have homes in West, who grew up there and their only fault is "wrong religion".

You can't be for freedom of speech and for censoring of freedom of speech at the same time.

You (and this JbGaga; among others) were just arguing how those Oregon terrorists have right to occupy federal property with GUNS and threats of VIOLENCE plus using their women and children as human shields,

"Just a quick reminder if they do shut down the electricity to the facility they will be shutting off the heat to woman and children who are also at the refuge, with temperatures of -16 in the area let’s pray they don’t."

And they admitted they've done it before

"We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front, if they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers."

And you call that a legal and normal protest while this woman standing up in silence is annoying and removing her is justified. Right.

Poor Trump, he shouldn't be distracted with woman standing there and looking like she belongs to the group people he's talking against.

Yes removing her is justified as people who host privet events have the right to put their own rules to their events and kick out anyone if they break the rules.. I dont understand why you cant understand that! he is not kicking muslims from his events, he is kicking out whites, african americans, hispanic and anyone that protest against his campaign. Trump is not asking for the government to censor people that criticize him outside the event or the internet. I never said I support censoring of freedom of speech I think you understand what I mean but your ignoring it.. this is what freedom of speech means: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYfywjmJdg0

Oregon standoff have the right to occupy federal property because the government is breaking the law against them while the Oregon standoff are using American laws to justify their actions.. lets not get into this as again, this is not our discussion and we already talked about this. I know that Muslims are being treated badly as I always travel to the west and my sister, cousins and friends all study in the west so I know how things are there.. I never denied any of this so I dont know why you bring this up.

Sister

It is so easy to forget what year we are in while watching, hearing or reading the news, in America, at least. It often feels like we are going backwards instead of progressing or are caught in a web of repeated histories. Trump as a leader will definitely set us back in time, he and these followers of his are just too small minded and refuse to face reality that is around them, it is just mind blowing for me. They believe in every boogeyman sighted to them. It is just unbelievable.

The future's uncertain and the end is always near.

You said that Trump is not looking to censor people that criticize him on the Internet, and yet he wants to censor everyone on the Internet because he believes it's out of control.

I do not know Trumps history and political ideas and I dont care to know it.. my point was that what happened in that event is not racism or against muslims or against freedom of speech. I know that Trump is against freedom I was not defending him, I was simply defending him in a situation where he is falsely accused of being a racist and hating muslims.

If someone accuses a serial killer of being a racist even though he is not and I defend him and made the argument that he is not a racist, doesnt mean I defend him as a serial killer and you bringing up his history of being a serial killer is invalid.

Applause

I continue to lower my standards for humanity, but, I feel I am reaching a breaking point. The bigotry is getting out of hand. I even hear it from parts of my family. One of my sisters supports Trump and judges anyone who looks like they may be from the middle east. I'm getting so fed up with the world as it seems to grow worse by the day..

Ok...in no way do I support the guy, but he did clarify his statements on the Internet comments. He was referring to those who use the Internet to recruit and support ISIS. His comments weren't referring to censoring people who criticize him on the Internet.

This was a private event. Trump paid for the venue. He can escort anyone out that is seen as "disrupting". (I personally don't agree with the move, as she and the man with her weren't heckling, which has become common during speeches by Sanders, Clinton and Trump)

The other situation is different, in that it is a state/federal building. The Feds could come in and force them out, but why? No one, but the birds, are occupying that building, so why force a confrontation. I would let them stay there for months if needed. They aren't getting attention anymore by the media...I would simply wait them out.

I agree with you, though, that Trump is using the "us against them" mindset as a rallying cry to appeal to a certain segment of Republican voters. It's working for a certain demographic in certain areas of the country.

Didn't see that. Thanks for clarifying.

He can kick them out, but that doesn't mean it's right.

Other situation is much worse, but you and others are justifying it.

I'm just done with this whole topic. Sorry.

He wanted to call Bill Gates so he could "close it up somehow".

Because that's what Bill Gates does. :emma:

He kicked a protest out, not a muslim woman.. she just happened to be a muslim.. if I kicked someone out of my restaurant for a reason and she happened to be a muslim, doesnt mean I kicked her out because shes a muslim.

I have a friend who attended a Trump rally and I suggest you do the same before you write another response like this. There are protestors in every rally no matter which one you go to, but the way they are treated in a Trump rally is disgusting and violent.
