Sky del Blue 2,975
Do you remember when gaga announced (during the ARTPOP era) that she'll be going to space to perform by the end of 2015, and by that become the first singer to perform in space? I was just wondering why didn't she go and I couldn't find answer on the internet. Do you know? Do you think she'll do it during LG5 era? It would be great promotion.. Quasi 10,910
The test pilot crashed during the Virgin test flight and unfortunately died so that basically halted any further progress on Gaga's performance. teo 609
Nobody else did.If I recall correctly the company that does the space travels postponed all of their trips. Their ship crashed or something?
Raikou 1,169
It was probably a spur of the moment decision from Gaga/her team without considering the implications. The crash didn't help, but it would never have happened anyway.
andy232000 10,850
they tested the ship where she was going to go and it crashed. several injured and 1 died. they cancelled all flights until they could fix and restore the aircrafts

Chump 1,091
She still can become the first singer to perform in space. Maybe in 2018 when it's done with LG5 Tour, right before kicking the new era off
Warholian 6,880
I like how everyone here gets concerned when Gaga's riding her horse or doing whatever drug, but her wanting to put herself in one of the most deadly professions by statistics in the US, you're all for it. I mean, if she wanted to do it safely do it with SpaceX, but crewed flights don't even start until 2017, and tourist flights probably won't be open to the public before 2020. Buy it a ticket on a Soyuz from Russia, Gaga. It's been done before. Kevin Parker, Mac Demarco, Mark Ronson, and a stoned Lady Gaga. Need I say more?
