Versace 8,081
You guys act like this is being applied to all phones lol NO headphones , earphones/pods with a jack won't be rendered useless/wasted LMFAO you have all the other phones in the world to use them with including all iPhones up to iPhone 6S your desktop, computer, laptop, Playstation/Xbox/Wii remote, Mp3 player if you use them lol and many more If this is an issue then simply don't buy the new iPhone, Apple supplies each iPhone with a pair of EarPods , so if it happens so that they switch to lightning connector , you'll get one. Besides all bluetooth headphones will work perfectly. I Don't mind this , if you get the iPhone 7 , then just invest in one really good quality headphones/earpods that use a lightning connector, i'm sure Beats will make one and their stuff last for a good while. I think the bottom line is, if your equipment is old and was cheap at the time... it's becoming redundant in the way it can keep up with current technology, which it was bound to I guess but I mean earphone-wise, and yeah there are bluetooth earphones but I can't really see them providing both wired earphones and bluetooth earphones when you get a new phone Personally it's not a problem for me because I don't use my phone at all when it's charging anyway, just looking around for little holes that could need patching up if not dealt with already

And even if such adaptor were available, they wouldn't be as cheap as £2. Converting SE's jack (idk how it's called) to 3.5 mm is not the same as converting lighting port signal to 3.5 mm. I may be wrong though. Ahh that's too bad! I guess I was lucky because mine came with an official one and I didn't have any problems with mine? I think you'd be surprised. It would only take a matter of weeks for a cheap one to emerge, same with the charging cables. Once there becomes a market for it, the cost cutting companies will all jump on and undercut each other. They're showing their awareness to battery issues by releasing their own battery charging case so they'll most likely aim to make the battery better with the 7, not that it's that bad on the 6. I mean it takes about an hour for my 6 to get to 90% when it's dead, that's already pretty good. For all we know, they may introduce wireless charging and offer people a pad to charge their phones? Who knows! Yeah, it wouldn't be a problem for me because my phone lasts a full day with pretty heavy usage and I can charge it practically anywhere anyway. I can blame Apple if my phone is dead and I can't use it after I forget to charge it in my car so really, if someone did get caught in this situation... they didn't plan forward enough
Phoenix 17,395
Poor them. They can't buy a brand new version of a phone which is way too expensive for what it offers, esspecially compared to other phones. And they need to buy a new version with a minor update. Tragic. Sad. Omg. 💎

TEANUS 16,194
You guys acting like only Apple would make the new adapters. Yes they would make them and they would be expensive but in a short time, companies will be making cheaper alternatives that work just as well like it is now. At first you could only buy lightning connectors from Apple, but now there's 100s of alternatives British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
