Trump's rally was occurring at the same time as US President Barack Obama's televised town-hall forum addressing gun violence. Obama has repeatedly called for gun-control measures after recent mass shootings and took executive action this week to expand background checks on gun buyers, among other things. But Trump argues that more people need to be carrying arms to protect the innocent. Gun-free zones are also put in place for schools because you only have to be 18 to have a conceled weapons permit. That means that some students, and all seniors, could carry in class. We should at least have armed guards at every school but alot of gun free areas don't allow of it. There is NO reason not to have armed guards. Some of you are saying people under 18 cant have concealed guns and thats why schools are gun free zones..... Really? No one thinks a minor should carry a gun.
