I dont understand what shes talking about. Also I wonder if its a good thing that she wont put all of her "pain" in her music. I agree about ARTPOP but isent that what makes her, her? A great song writer and such. It means she's approaching music from a calm and clear-headed place now. With the next album there'll be more thoughtfulness and sophistication to the lyrics, concepts and musicality. With the making of ARTPOP she was in physical and emotional pain to such an extent that it inhibited her clarity and ability to channel that pain into something meaningful and coherent. So she's not implying that we're not going to get substance and great songwriting on the next album, it'll be quite the opposite.

Bradley 59,023
Fck me Wes Bentley and then Wes started jumping up on the kitchen table and he was throwing knives across the room and shoving pizza into his face. She was throwing the American flag across the room, and I [was] thinking to myself, ****, that’s Wes Bentley, American Beauty, the flag…this is amazing. so fcking masculine and hot
Bradley 59,023
Wes was being inappropriate with me and she was telling him what a pig he was. What was really amazing was to see us all feel safe enough to recreate that outside of the studio, without the show. Do that to me, Wes I like how Kathy chastises Wes as if she was really his mother. God this interview is amazing.

I think she's ready to stand among the great songwriters she's been tributing the last couple of years.

I don't think she's talking about not writing about her "pain". She likely means she won't create music in pain, like she did with ARTPOP. She'll write about her pain from a distance, and not create music while being in pain. That's what I got from the interview

Bradley 59,023
Btw I love how crazy and wild James Franco can get (if you follow him on Instagram, you'll know) but when it comes to listening and discussing artistry, he becomes very serious and dedicated. uvglo 966
Wheres the ARTPOP shade? We knew ARTPOP was her "pain exploding in electronic music" did you guys just think she was kidding? She just said what she already has. omg why is princess is princess high my new nickname
GagaMegaFan 3,784
Why is she keep comparing her next album with ARTPOP ? It's saddening me because ARTPOP relieved my pain like it supposed to do. But Gaga thinking it's wrong. Also wasn't TFM about her pains & fears? It's OK she put all the pain on AHS. So what is she gonna do with her next record? Drama-less happy music? ew
