Maybe this will be the platform she uses to officially announce LG5, maybe no new music be we still don't even know what its called, this could be it. Considering the pace of tech at the moment what we see really could be genuinely incredible and what a strong way to officially start proceedings, maybe she'll secure the tech for the tour and she'll be the first artist to be able to use it and finally be a pioneer again. Maybe I'm reaching about an announcement and hyping the tech but for some reason I really feel what ever this is it will be wont be a Volantis act 2, its Intel's thing Gagz is just the vessel.

Not the bore worms!

I think it will be in the Grammy week, because otherwise Gaga or the Grammy twitter account would have tweeted: first performer "Lady Gaga", and no'one has said a thing, so maybe it's just some promo thing before and she will use it on the Grammy's again

Well after ARTPOP's all weird choices, I wouldn't be surprised if she wastes this opportunity with singing

Till it Happens To You:derpga:

I bet she does a medley or some kind of announcement when the technology is unveiled, and then maybe something more spectacular with the technology at the actual ceremony.

I'm picturing Gaga performing alongside 20 Gaga holograms, with an interactive digital backdrop. Lorrd.

Yes it really could be!

I also think it could be some holograms or anything related with drones or music.

I easily see Gaga as leading with her own hands a lot of drones doing artistic visuals and making some beautiful lights or anything.

You can see ont the first Intel's video of that website that they're creating something with drones and "something that you play music without the hands" ^^ (http://www.intel.fr/content/www/fr/fr/events/intel-ces.html)

I don't really know actually what is it but well

omg the drones are amazing

I also actually think it could be possible that studio XO worked on it! They have worked with Gaga with a lot of things (Bubelle dress, Volantis, fashion...) and they're Intel's partner. They also know Brandon Maxwell ;)

There's a huge possibility the Grammy performance will use drone technology. In that YouTube video, there's sketches of performance ideas at the 6:38 mark. In the sketches, Drones are flying around Gaga! The project/video was created in partnership with Intel, so it is possible that they will be using the ideas in the sketches for Gaga's Grammy performance. The video is from 2014, so the Haus of Gaga may have been working on this for almost 2 years. And considering that Intel has done a recent project that uses drones in a synchronized performance, it give even more likelihood that drone technology will be a component at the Grammys.

I think its clear that Intel will announce they've captured Tony Bennett into a complex AI that will give him eternal, albeit electronic, life. This will allow Gaga to make C3C-C49C. This will be her announcement.

No actual holograms have yet been fully invented.

Everything you have seen around has been just screens making it look like holograms. The closest scientists have come to is making a very tiny hologram made by lasers than will actually do small burns. If Gaga + Intel manage to make an actual hologram, it would be groundbreaking and truly completely new. When will everyone else in the world? When will aliens?

I'm watching this again and just noticed how much those accentuated cheek bones make her look like Scarlett Johansson from certain angles.

Oh hello. What is this space down here? Where am I?

You know what this is though... this is going to be something poignant.... why else would computers be involved with the Grammies other than to create images that never existed before... My gut feeling (I could be wrong, I have no idea, this is a GUESS) is that she will perform duets with singer's who've passed on, to showcase the potential of the future of "seeing" passed on artists again through digital imagery manipulation.

Imagine if people could see a full concert of Amy Winehouse, or Kurt Cobain, or even MJ -- rendered in HD 3-D visual imagery.

I recently read a  magazine article about how the future of copyright is going to be digital preservation of the artist's very self -- a complete HD 3D Scan of the persons exact features, body structure, and facial details and expressions -- to be used in 3D renderings after they pass away. Now I'm itching to find that magazine so I can show you what I'm talking about.

edit: this is not the article I was talking about, but it's the general idea:
