blackstar 11,512
50 shades of gray is one of those really really bad movies with good soundtrack but no thank you. I would rather if she could write a song for a drama or (real) romantic movie. Maybe even for an erotic movie but I can't name any good erotic movie tho Dilated, falling free in a modern ecstasy
AJH219 4,448
I don't want her anywhere near this sad excuse for both a movie and a work of literature. 'All our dreams can come true IF we have the courage to pursue them'-Walt Disney

Well how the song receives depends largely on the music. Skyfall won an Oscar and was well received, so maybe Sam Smith didn't do that great of a job last year. That doesn't mean Lady Gaga will receive the same fate. She's not british so she's gonna receive backlash if the song is not that good 50SoG would a safer choice

What matters is the quality of the song. Btw Madonna did a theme song for Bond once so Gaga has a chance.

I think, however, Gaga would not be the first american to do this, and she's not that controversial, so she would not be perceived that way, but still it's some kind of a tradition to give the theme to british singers
