I was trying to convince her why she should do so-and-so, and thinking, ”Lean On’ is bigger than any of her songs around the world right now. I did a few things for it but they don’t get back to you, there are a lot of people involved…It’s okay because I’m working on my stuff and it’s going fine.” I didn't know about that last statement, that basically crushes my theory. This stuff simply isn't her - it's other people's artistic perceptions that she's taking for her own. This is getting into some really dark stuff and it's alienating her fans. It's all to be taken more seriously but I think it's just annoying her fans more. It's all so try hard and not Rihanna at all. So much of this stuff could've come out of a Gaga era.
