Tim can no longer afford to do it every week though in our current downtime, as he's currently trying to just get a steady job. Also when I hosted it was a lot of fun, (even though it was only 2 or 3 times) and at it's core, Radio ARTPOP was a fun organic thing. Gaga liked it. Why shouldn't it, in principle, be a good thing? It would ten times better if someone like you hosted a radio show like that again. Radio Gaga, hosted by ChicaSkas... Has a nice ring to it... Do your own research. Why did he end it exactly and did he say anything about starting it back up? I think because in his life situation he no longer had the stability (bad family situation / money problems / home problems) plus also the viewership was way down and the reasons for leaving outweighed the reasons for continuing. When you get right down to it, most of us are millennials just barely holding it together if we are living on our own, and if not , we are one problem (illness, car breakdown, rent problems, work problems, insurances, etc) away from debt/bankruptcy/brokeness. If we are lucky we have stable homes with parents / relatives who aren't psychos. once you have to have serious worries about where you will sleep at night, whether the electricity will be cut off, or whether or not you will eat that day, then something like an internet talk show is likely furthest from your mind. I'm not saying he faced all those things, but it's the general comparison of the urgency of the idea I want to get accross. Starting it back up all depends on: 1. Having a steady home environment for the hosts (I could do it, possibly, but I would need Tim's permission to use the Radio ARTPOP slogan/logo/brandname) (although I could use my own made up name but would it be the same? Probably not) 2. Having people who actually give a damn to watch it. Viewership was down when it ended in the middle of 2015. 3. Being able to turn it around to in some small way, make it profitable. Even if it's just a single dollar from some of you once in a while, some occasional monetary thanks for ALL the behind the scenes work. (I had NO idea how much work was involved until I was host in Tim's absence) would help motivate people so much more. Of course these kinds of things are a labor of love, but when you crunch down the hours spent doing the time to research the topics, book the guests, schedule interviews with famous people, and cover absences for hosts, all that time spent in front of the computer and focused on being a one woman or one man producer takes its toll out of your real life. I am totally not bashing the idea or complaining --- I'm just pointing out a reality. It is A LOT of dedicated hard work and commitment to host a show, especially one of these where guests can drop out just hours before hand and you have to fill the space -- when the public is counting on you -- with something. It's massive. Doable, fun, rewarding!! But still a big deal. Having the RadioArtShop was actually a really cool way Tim made the whole thing turn back a little profit -- the ability to buy unique teeshirts (I still have my comfy C2C TonyGaga tee) and memorabilia (I bought several Laim Finlay artworks of Paparazzi, PartyNauseous, ect to hang on my wall) was a good way to get some money to Radio ARTPOP as a whole and to Liam, who drew the art. All in all -- it's feasible, but it would take desire from the users, and a time commitment from the host. Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. homomo 23,883
I wouldn't mind; however, Chica is right. Tim, the creator, is/was going through tons of personal stuff that affected the show. He is currently working on another project called populove.net. You guys should check that out. I've been a re-occurring guest on Radio ARTPOP numerous times. I can honestly say it was an amazing experience, and I even met some friends through it that I still talk to this day. 0110100001100101011011000110110001101111

Chica, such an endeavor would need teamwork from those invested and interested in its success. We need people with skills: producing, research, music/sound, networking/connections/contacts, set up/planning shows in advanced, and donations/financial help. Can we bring back Gaga fan radio show? Can we make it happen? Something like that would make anticipating Gaga's upcoming album more fun and exciting. Who else is interested? Do your own research. I don't think Admin would be very pleased putting it on main page... that would of course be awesome but it would have to be something more than just the Chica Show. The whole video chat thing could pose problems with underage users though and / or predatory gays / anons who lurk. Guests on a show like RA would have to be at least slightly prescreened through the host(s). Do YOU own the 4' by 6' Perfect Illusion promo Poster? Will pay you for it. He focused like a laser on all of those things, on a regular consistent basis, to the point where he was looking at it like an unpaid job. When the show quit, he was free to look for a real regular job -- that was how much time it sucked up. Yes, team work would be ideal... it would still need a boss though to delegate tasks and oversee. It's a lot to think about. People (i mean say, like lets say 100 truly interested people) would have to want it to come back. If 100 people could prove to me that they would watch this show, I might consider doing it -- but again it would have to hinge on whether Tim would even let me use the name "radio ARTPOP".
