Infinity Wave 7,633 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Hy everyone! This is my first topic and I wanted to share with you an idea that came to my mind just right now. I just re-watched the Billboard Woman Of The Year performance, and I noticed that on the background the screens were displaying LOTS OF BUTTERFLIES! Maybe someone has already talked about that, but just because I read that lots of us were expecting some news or info about LG5 during the ceremony, I immediately thought that maybe Gaga really wanted to give us some hints about her new work, displaying butterflies during the performance! I mean, TIHTY and Butterflies do not have much in common, right? The only connection I can think at is in the line "hold your head up", that can be linked with the butterfly that flies freely up in the sky but... So, if Butterflies have no connection at all with TIHTY (that she performed that night, for those who doesn't know ), why on earth did she choose THAT insect for the background of the stage? Any idea? Just to clarify I'm not saying things like "LG5 is called BUTTERFLY" or whatever I'm just trying to figure out why there are so many butterflies displayed... and only them for all the performance! Maybe we should start to think that Gaga really gave us a hint, and that Butterflies really have something to do with LG5! It leaves a former body (or trauma) behind and flies free, able to transcend its former ground. It's funny though because there's a rumor spreading here that "Monarch" is the LG5 title, which is a species of butterflies. Curiously enough it would also be a nice follow-up to her "Countess" appearance in AHS. It would also be an ironic answer to her "I don't want her ****ing throne" outburst. A monarch can mean queen, but also a variety of other titles. Maybe she'd like that. Anyway, just speculation. Edit: Remember the "Sire" song we heard about? What is with the titles flying around.. Dominic 11,922 Posted January 3, 2016 Share Posted January 3, 2016 I hadn't seen before...but then again I didn't watch it either She has used a lot of butterfly and nature emojis and this would seem like another hint but I can't help but feel it's more than likely just because it represents 'rebirth' or new life and that is how she feels currently after the ARTPOP mess. Her first albums she was touring the world or had just grown up in New York City they were Industrial, inspired by the city and either had really dark colors or crazy neons (see ARTPOP) Now she's living at her home that's surronded by nature and her animals it's a big change.
