Majority of her fans, and even just people talking about her in normal conversation call her "Gaga" and the Lady is kind of not needed anymore. Not saying I want her to drop it, but Gaga is a household name and everyone knows her. Does she need the Lady? Would you want her to keep it or do you not care? Gaga always clearly says she prefers to be called Gaga, because she thinks it's too formal to say Lady Gaga. But, think of Lady Gaga as to Sir Elton John. The phrase "gaga" is still used for different things other than her name so the Lady is needed to specify. Also it would be a bad move for someone who is trying to rebuild her musical career, the general public might get put off by the confusion of her name change.
