They are just trying to show that black people can be violent. Because they're sh*theads trying to make a quick buck or go viral. 3 minutes ago, Didymus said: Well, no No harm is done to me, I wasn't insulted or touched inappropriately and I'd think it was a good prank tbh. And I'm referring to the internet reception too, a lot of comments on the bomb prank vid show people thinking these people are like criminals. Just seems like a weird overreaction to me. Yeah, I guess it just depends on how sensitive you are to these types of thing. Personally, I would hate to be pranked like this. There's only so much I can tolerate and I'm quick to anger. Well, I get that and i get that therefore the prank isn't done in America but I don't get why people looking at the prank on the internet need to mention that bs when none of the people involved were ever in danger. Sure there are pranks that don't cause harm but this can incite fear among people. Pranks should not make someone feel like they are going to lose their life. It's insensitive to those that have loved ones who lost their lives in these types of tragedies. If this is your kind of humor But it wasn't a mass prank and it wasn't done to cause massive anxiety and panic These pranks involved almost completely desolate places with a maximum of 2 people involved. To me this isn't any different from other pranks that feature someone hiding behind a door in a mask or someone coming in a room with a fake axe. I personally was pranked once as a kid a lot more elaborately with a fake kidnapping that lasted for more than an hour including a fake shooting of one of my camp leaders at the end and we all recovered and I can still laugh at things like this, so why overreact when this particular prank is like 1000x less dramatic than that? And it could be insensitive to people who lost their lives in bomb attacks, but you could say that about literally everything you see on the internet. I can laugh at this because it's done on an extremely small scale, no one was ever in danger, no one's privacy was invaded,... this is a very classic, old school prank that sure must be scary as **** for the people involved but not for longer than 20 seconds pls. I swear, people are too easily offended these days. I remember when I was a kid, things were very different. The change is scaring me and a lot of other people, notably including comedians who can't even ****ing say anything anymore when they're performing for a young audience. Yes, the racist, sexist, and homophobic jokes were such a great asset back then You do understand how impressionable young kids minds are, right? Like have you taken a psychology class at all? I can only imagine some kid thinking this was hilarious, watching it with a couple of their friends and doing it on a larger scale. Thats great that your friends fake kidnapped you and "shot" people and you are fine with it but someone who would be offended, has that right to be. God, if I found out that happened to a kid of mine, I would flip ****. The things we do can leave deep marks in children's minds. Especially in kids, pranks can be used as a power play. Im not someone who is uptight. I love humor. But causing fear, whether it's to one person or a group, is just the lowest level of comedy to me. DrewStevens 5,249
Only an idiot would do or laugh at these "pranks" tbh. The problem is not how dangerous this is, the problem is how harmful this is for Muslims and people of Middle Eastern descent. They receive enough hate, they don't need some idiots making fun of something like this and sharing it with millions of people around the world. All these "pranks" need to stop. Pranks about terrorism, sexual harassment and murder shouldn't be funny.
