Kanye West 1,676 Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 I have read a lot of posts claiming Gaga hates Telephone and that she thinks it's her worst song, which is complete bullshit created by delusional stans who for some reason want to damage Gaga's most acclaimed album; The Fame Monster. Gaga actually said "I gave the song to Britney's team but they didn't use it. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I had to fight to get the song back which was a terrible experience. I had to go through a lot to get the song back." she talked about how the experience of fighting to get the song back and fighting with the production was an awful experience for her. She later clarified it's nothing to do with the song itself but with the memories she has associated with the song and the legal issues. Now, try harder ARTPOP stans. In fact, I think it was in the special BTW newspaper she did with them. It was reported heavily back in 2011, so definitely nothing to do with ARTPOP stans. The truth is: when asked what song of hers she enjoyed the least listening to / performing, she answered Telephone because of all the legal issues you've described, but also because at the time the video was shot, she was exhausted and kinda associated the song with the negative state of mind she was in. It has strictly nothing to do with ARTPOP, those statements were even said long before ARTPOP was even a thing so I don't get that part of the OP. People have been dragging Telephone, calling it "generic" and saying "Gaga said it's her worst song" etc when none of that is true.
