Just listen to "Rivers" by Lykki Li. The remix basically removes all the subtlety of the original song but makes it flow better. This makes it sound better than the original, but it removes some of the intent of the singer. I'm pretty sure Lykki Li meant it as a melancholic song, but the remix makes it almost celebratory.
