Didymus 34,379
What do you think about Gaga's remixes? I personally adore them and quite often find them sounding better than Gaga's final song versions, most specifically in terms of production, even when the same producer remixes (ex. Applause/DWUW). Which remixes do you think top Gaga's studio versions? My picks: LoveGame (Chew Fu Ghettohouse Fix feat. Marilyn Manson) Spoiler Born This Way (Twin Shadow Remix) Spoiler Applause (Empire of the Sun Remix) Spoiler Applause (DJ White Shadow Trap Remix) Spoiler Do What U Want (DJ White Shadow Remix) Spoiler G.U.Y. (St. Lucia Remix) Spoiler Thoughts? Post yours!

I don't listen to Gaga remixes but there is one Lana one I prefer very much over the original and I'm not sure if I should post it here or not

Didymus 34,379
I'm also trying to remember what Gaga herself said about officially released remixes.. I'm sure she said she handpicked them herself but I can't find anything about it now. Does anyone remember?

Yes, the EP was so good. When I want to introduce Gags to hipsters and musicians I use this remix haha. Same for this one :

LebaneseDude 6,146
A well done remix will almost always sound better than the originals in my opinion. It's just how sound engineering works. Still, Gaga's originals tend to stand pretty well on their own. She doesn't always go for the sound with the most flow. Bloody Mary is a disjointed mess but I think it's great the way it is. So is Born This Way etc... I must admit that my favorite Gaga remix is actually a Judas mashup with Judas Priest though. Edited just now by LebaneseDude.
