what if both the song and video will be cut from the album? I mean, they can still release it as a stand-alone single or buzz single without having anything to do with the album , like how probably 45S, AO and maybe BBHMM will be

Yeah I think it's cheap, honestly she did far better... I was also disappointed by what she delivered last year from ANTi...

The guy said that they may not include her released 'singles' on ANTi... Sounds like it's a mess...

Melody sounds alright and the echo-y electric guitars are nice (very 80's)...vocals are too overworked and whiny, though - not to mention I can't hear Rihanna at all...

Ikr? I don't know...this just makes me feel that Rihanna never was really free from being a label puppet at all, despite having the image of a bad gal , unapologetic etc. ... like, it's not like her label couldn't have created this image with her and started marketing her like that.... poor Rihanna, she needs better management

I just don't understand how some of you guys judge the song by a rough demo without even her vocals. The instrumentation is dope and I can already imagine with her voice, it'd be the perfect song. Kiss it Better and Higher are the two most promising snippets we've heard from R8 (can we already talk about R8 and ANTI as two separate albums tbh?) and chances of seeing them released in full are unfortunately slim.
