Versace 7,860 Posted December 26, 2015 Share Posted December 26, 2015 ALT short for Alternative it explores my Alternative view of Pop Culture but not only that , it's my alternative views on life, it gives me the platform to express my individual thought without anyone interfering since it's my personal album. Therefor there is not gonna be a sense of being right or wrong in perceiving a matter, since it's gonna be from my lens. Whether my alternative perception presents the truth or a lie to the listener, it doesn't matter, since it's the art of distortion. It's not a dark pop album but a distorted one. It would have that infectious pop sound but the lyrical content is wicked and the undertones are thrilling. The album cover would be a Red painted door that spells ALT in black ink while the door knob is solid gold (giving the imagery of a gateway to an alternative universe). i've actually begun writing songs for this concept and i have a track called Sanity and it's all about being insane this serves the perfect example of what i'm trying to say, to me sanity is the state of being insane, it's an alternative concept of the popular meaning, it's not an original concept but the way i carry out the concept has not been a central theme to any album i've come across. I guess it's partially inspired by how The Fame Monster views Fame in a negative light and how ARTPOP presents Pop music as an art form.
