Okay, this whole "Bonnie McKee writes all of Katy's stuff!" argument is ridiculous. Bonnie McKee is the co-writer (never the sole songwriter, and Katy is always credited) on seven songs. Katy Perry is the sole songwriter on eight songs. Moreover, she's a co-writer on all her songs, and if interviews with Sia and Bonnie are any indication, she's always involved in the songwriting process.

I get you guys don't like her; I don't care if you like her. But she is absolutely a songwriter. If being a co-writer "doesn't count," then the only artists you should stan for are pre-Red Taylor Swift and nobody else, because everyone co-writes.

Gaga writes everything. Her producers ''''co-write''''. RedOne said that her producers are only credited for them to get the writing rights, because gaga want them to earn more money. He even admitted that on Bad Romance he only 'wrote' the 'oooohooooh' nothing else. Gaga insisted for him to be credited as a writer...

Gaga could almost get all her albums as the only writer (especially TFM and BTW). And from what we know it will be the same for LG5.

I know this is what RedOne says, but it's honestly hard to take anything from it because we can't prove it. "I write all my songs, you just can't tell by the writing credits because I'm generous with my producers." There's very few Gaga tracks that we can say, for sure, she wrote everything. Speechless and You And I are the only ones from mainstream Gaga albums that have her as the sole credit. The Red and Blue album was also written entirely by Gaga. Other than that, we don't know to what extent producers played a role in "songwriting" (and what counts as "songwriting", anyway?) Considering that Speechless and You and I were not produced by Gaga herself, it sort of raises the question of why the producer of Judas got a songwriting credit, but not the producer of Speechless.

In any case, even if we take Gaga as some kind of special exception who is very generous with credits, you'd still have a whopping total of two artists who can be said to write everything on their own. Or who used to write everything on their own, in the case of Taylor Swift.

It's said from a future album so probably from LG5, if it's her... Look at how almost all Rebel Heart demos leaked 2 months before the album release...
