Should Gaga go for a Norah Jones-esque sound?

WIth her new reinvention as a vocal jazz chanteuse and her more natural, toned down aesthetic - should Lady Gaga's sound follow?

I'm thinking a soulful pop record with cathchy, mellow pop  songs that showcase her voice would be a good next step.

Something like this would perfectly suite Gaga and would actually bring her back to  her roots (Stefani).

WDYT?

I don't think she should do anything, but I won't lie, I'd be ecstatic if she went down this route. Though my personal preference will always be an album that combines soul, funk, disco and rock :flower:

I think that would be the safest move for Gaga.

And I wouldn't mind it at all, really.

They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

I knew Tony would make people forget why her name is Lady Gaga. As nice as this song sounds, no, I think she should stick to her own sound that comes off as fresh every era (except for Check2Check)

I think the same...

No offence to Nora (or Adele or anyone doing slow and emotionnal songs), I love her, but honestly I want Gaga to return to crazy beats like she did in the past...

I don't think she will go back to "crazy beats" for a good 5 years at least.

ARTPOP closed the first chapter of her career and I feel that she is going to start a completely new and different phase now, like David Bowie did after his Ziggy Stardust era.

I was not thinking about ARTPOP more TFM / BTW mix plus brand new influences...

But with Red One, Ronson, Moroder and Rodgers on it, there's no way Gaga pull a Nora / Adele album... She'll probably stick to dance sounds

I want Gaga to do romantic lovemaking music. Gaga is in a really happy place now and I want that to shine through. I'm thinking soulful disco meets sexy new jack swing. Music that sounds like it's a mix of 1978 and 1992 and everything in between, with sensual harmonies and throbbing beats.

I'd love more ocassional ballads in her albums and most album tracks are dance-pop or something upbeat as opposed to an album thats like this but I'd be here for it if she did. Gaga definitely can deliver great vocals and write emotional ballads, I'm here eitherway

Personally I'd love it for a couple of songs :flutter:, but not an entire album :laughga:

She would get dragged for doing this more then she was in the ARTPOP era. The gp would say it's too boring for Gaga or that she is copying her.
