It's not like Hillary's approach is much more forgiving, as she doesn't believe in a path to naturalization and she stood against the sheltering of illegal kids coming to the U.S. for refuge. She literally voted to send them back to war and poverty ridden places. She is no abuela of mine. My abuela was a diabetic woman with a low-wage job as a seamstress who starved herself in order to take care of her 6 children. Hillary never had to suffer through that. It's a choice of the lesser evils here. Bernie isn't going to make it, and if he runs as independent (which I doubt now) he's going to take too many votes away from Hillary and Trump will win. Trump may not make it past the Iowa caucuses, but I doubt every time I hear his name he's going to really win. But, no President is perfect, and unfortunately, even if Obama could run for presidency again, he wouldn't and everyone is sick of him. 3 minutes ago, boysboysboys said: Hilarious. I will say, though, that if you think both Trump and Hillary are inadequate, please make that voice be heard. I'm sorry but if you don't see a candidate blatantly pandering toward a certain race as an issue then you come off as ignorant to white privilege.. And coming from someone who is trans and understands a lot about cis privilege maybe you shouldn't always be so critical of social justice issues. As much as I want to say you're true, there's very little a singular person with a weak voice like mine can do. There's a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes I don't control or have very little understanding of. A lot of the Presidency is about making promises you can't keep or not even perform. And there's an assload of money involved. And protesters can be removed from rallies, rather violently, if you've noticed any of Trump's videos. And if his Hitler like comments didn't exclude him from the Presidency, I don't know what does. If Trump never ran in the first place, we might've had an actual race between bernie and whoever the Republicn frontrunner was. There may have been a chance Bernie would win. I would've voted for him. But if it comes between Hillary and trump, I think Hillary would win, but barely. And I think that's if the people who were going to vote for Bernie get over themselves and vote for her. Trump would be dumb enough to run independent, however. However, Bernie is still the best candidate out of the bunch, and study after study and poll after poll suggests he is the best candidate against any GOP nomination. He would obliterate Trump and Bush more than Hillary would. The real solution is not to push Bernie aside, but to help him during primaries so that he gets the nomination. Bernie making it is not yet out of the question. He actually understands the solutions, unlike Hillary and Trump. When he panders to Hispanics, he doesn't talk about "respeto" or being like an "abuelo". He tells hispanics that they are people too and deserve the basic rights that American citizens get handed.
