I just thought it was really funny how both Madonna and Gaga appeared on the same talk show and both coincidentally received fan made dolls from audience members, and reacted VERY differently! Haha this is a cute/funny throwback.

Madonna's reaction seems far more genuine and actually nicer than Gaga's.

Do you see the way M's face changes when she starts inspecting the dolls? She's really impressed but tries to hide it and continues to tease.

Gaga didn't come across as impressed as Madge there at all. The monotone voice and constant smile just comes across forced to me.

Well I hope Gaga remains the same when it comes to attitude to people. I mean eveyrone is praising her. Whoever she works with, even if they had a negative or indifferent opinion, they start praising her down-to-earth personality. Like what happened with AHS. With the media and the fans constantly scrutinising them, I think this is one of the most difficult things to do throughout the course of your career. Madge appears to be sassy a bit, but I assume she's seen too much from her fans and has had enough. I mean it could be worse.

But yeah, I agree with Benji above, it's a tease act, every fan who knows her should be able to appreciate it. And don't forget that Madonna states she wants to take them home with her. When the fan says no omg, it's delicious.

That may be Madonna's humour, but I don't find it funny at all. Even tho Gaga's smile seems a bit forced, I'd rather get the forced smile and "thank you, I love it so much" than some weird humour and "this is sort of good".

I do think Madonna's reaction is just her humor, but to say Gaga's reaction is ingenuine is reading more into it than there actually is. I do not like how divisive a thread like this is or how messy it will become.

Well the video and thread is about comparing the differences between their reactions, I posted the most obvious to me. I'm not hating on Gaga at all, I just said her forced reaction here is transparent.

The Medonner's "nothing impresses the queen" shtick is so lame. 

If she is impressed (which I doubt) but trying to hide it, then it's not genuine. It's an act, we get it, but it's not even funny.

If you think Gaga is not genuine with her reaction and smile, that's just your cynicism talking. Some people are really that nice. And Gaga is one of them.

She even said she knows how much time it took to make them, these little things can mean a lot.

Even if she was faking her smile (I don't think that), for personal reasons, she still has manners.

Her mind could be somewhere else, crying about Luc or whatever/having a bad day, but it's great how she shows appreciation to her fans.
