I can't really understand why there's celebration about her app not doing well, I mean that seems a bit far on the evil scale and not in a cute way  

Also can we please stay on topic about the app and not use this as a gateway to bash Katy in other aspects of her career. If you don't like Katy that's fine but don't use a misfortune thread to let out bottled and harboured negative feelings - there are better outlets and this isn't one of them  

Let's also avoid this becoming about Gaga, we don't need another thread or anything pitting them against each other

TIHTY ...well....first of all, it wasn't released as a proper single, more like a buzz single at best

Secondly, it barely got a performance or two lately and I don't think it was too much promoted (only in its first 2-3 days on twitter)

On another hand, it wasn't even aimed to top the charts . I mean, who would request a song about rape on the radio ? plus it also comes from an indie/independent documentary (well, it's not a popular one , that's for sure) 

I mean, no one would expect this to skyrocket in views or any other chart measurements , like not even haters use it against the monsters

There is no guarantee that Gaga will be more successful than Katy just because she has more talent. Where does that idea even come from? If that were true, Katy wouldn't be on a success rise and Gaga wouldn't have experienced the massive decline between 2011-14.

Why does that matter anyway, why does she have to "win"? Makes no sense.

Gaga herself spoke out about how ridiculous this (insert name of female pop star) vs. (insert name of other female pop star) is, I can't believe this fanbase keeps it alive. There's no excuse for that. She deserves to flop? How childish are you people? And to think you're a fan of someone who is famous for improving her fans' self esteems

Agreed. Everyone is showing their true emotions on Gaga and Katy's current success and it may seem unorthodox but this is a much needed discussion seeing that we all feel some type of way about how everyone has been plotting The Cats and Little Monsters against each other. We're basically distant cousins.

It's pretty sad to see some people making it ONCE AGAIN a Katy VS Gaga thread. Don't come crying the next time Katy fans bring some PRISM VS ARTPOP receipts, 'cause in these stupid "numbers/achievements" wars, Monsters always end up looking like jokes (and well-deservingly so)

Please try to be detached from Gaga one minute and react like a normal person reading an article, not some numbers-obsessed fan jumping with joy because he found a new "shade" to throw at an artist he doesn't like. It's pretty easy to do and that's how things go in the real world, you know.
