There's quite some variety tbh..

You have the singalong songs for drunk middle-aged people in a bar:

Gay music (mostly pander to middle-aged women though)

Female pop:

Kids pop (really impactful and popular band - the have their own talent show, and the finale had 10%of the total population watching :rip: )

And this is what young people in urban areas listen to: (they mention the city I live in as a no-go zone :rip: )

I'll leave the only two spanish artists that I find interesting.

Monica Naranjo, for me, she's the best voice that Spain has.

And Alaska, from Fangoria. The ultimate gay icon. :hor:

I know but you know Gaga is a busy lady and there are over 200 countries so it's not really convenient for her to acknowledge every single one of them. I mean if she were to tweet i<3india she's bound to do that for every other country as well lol. Be less negative about it and more positive about the fact that she put on a show that was just for her Indian fans.

Back to the topic, please indulge with some fine Finnish gay bops

In the Philippines, we mostly root for or have bands, both rock and alternative and rarely ever original dance music. The ones that top charts here are often those bands or solo "pop" stars that do many covers. Popular atists here keep doing covers from the american song book or from past original Philippine songs, reviving them and those often hit #1 and become popular, with that in mind we still have good original songs in our language. To sum it up, we're big on bands and covers.

What are some famous musicians/bands from the Philippines? Which ones are your favorites?

because regional music is awkward sounding as fock (mariachi is like the preppy part of it, it gets even worse) and the pop singers are BASIC as a Demi Lovato without talent

I never really considered regional music Mexican. When I think of Mexican music I think of people like Vicente Fernandez, Juan Gabiel. Just really great music and I love love love Selena. I think she might sing regional music. I always think of regional musica as Texan with Mexican decent. That's just my point of view.
