LebaneseDude 6,146
I've noticed that most people here tend to list American musicians and their works whenever discussing favorites. What's interesting is that there is a significant (if not majority?) of people who are not American. This begs the question. Do you not listen to music from your own culture? I used to think so regarding Lebanese music, but the more I grew up and the longer I stayed away from home, the more I have come to appreciate it. If you do, please share your favorites. I don't mind if i don't understand the lyrics directly. It would be nice to experience songs from non-American cultures. Here are some of my favorite modern songs under the spoiler tags. Can provide translation upon mass request. Spoiler Edited just now by LebaneseDude.

They're actually really great, because in their previous album, they took old Lithuanian poems, some of which are centuries old, and they turned them into songs. They are very creative people.
