I don't know what it is but Demi fails to really touch me. Sure those notes are pretty (sometimes screamy) but I dont know, I'm not moved and her emotional performances always fall flat for some reason

I don't get it! I'm actually annoyed at myself for not knowing why I don't like her. Something is just stopping me. I dont know! Is it that it's quite X factor top 10 contestant or something? I don't know but I just don't find her performances captivating in any way. She's obviously talented but I just don't know!

This was actually a good performance! Her technique is usually really poor, and this was an improvement. She still doesn't move me though and for some reason her impressive moments seem contrived, unlike with some other singers...I don't quite know how to put my finger on it, but something's missing...

I think I keep looking for more depth in her voice like Gaga or Adele or even Christina. It was a bit screamy at some points, but still it was a good performance.
