How can he benefit from a statement like this, when as soon as he releases his music and it's not up to par with his statements, he'll be a hypocrite.... Anyway, I've seen artists like him recover from worse things, so it might not even be a big deal... Pretty ungrateful of him, since he obviously knew he wasn't joining the Rolling Stones, but rather the new Jonas Brothers, when he signed the contract... But I'm only a man and I do what I can. Unless he's about to go experimental though, I can't see how he can talk about "generic as f*ck" pop music when he's probably recording very generic R&B right now but that's none of my business.
