Y'all used to preach "music not the bling" so much and now y'all are just about that bling. :toofunny:

I don't know if you guys have realized this but money doesn't make you happy in the long term.

Icon! He's a true and experimental artist, he should collab with Gaga

He's going to serve an acclaimed r&b record I know it

lol at him trying to gain sympathy from this.

They all knew what they were getting into and they sure enjoyed the benefits long enough. Reminds me of Gaga trying to save herself by claiming she'd go right back to singing in bars if she ever had to change herself a few weeks after she blamed her manager for suffocating her artistically.

But the gays and teenage girls won't think that far, I guess, so good for him.

Benefits = money? Theres only so much one can buy with money once you have so much of it, zayn used it to buy her mom a house.

you talk as if gaga or zayn were lying and management couldn't possibly totally block their artistry.

I wonder what he would have sounded like on DWUW. :flutter:

What's funny is that his music would probably sound more generic.

His music so far doesn't sound generic in the least :wtf: it's very experimental

I dislike 1D's music but sis, if you're that ARTSY and stuff, maybe you should've left a while ago? Oh, no, you wanted that money and fame from that generic music. Ugh who the **** he think he is? Good luck with that experimental 50k selling album.

He's only sabotaging himself... How can he benefit from a statement like this, when as soon as he releases his music and it's not up to par with his statements, he'll be a hypocrite.... Anyway, I've seen artists like him recover from worse things, so it might not even be a big deal... Pretty ungrateful of him, since he obviously knew he wasn't joining the Rolling Stones, but rather the new Jonas Brothers, when he signed the contract...

But I'm only a man and I do what I can.

I'm saying that they were fine with shutting up about being exploited until it suited them to speak up.

It's not like anyone above the age of 12 thought they wrote their own stuff.

13 tracks on their new album were written by them though...

Looks like the under twelves know more than you.

I'm intrigued to hear what he comes up with, I do like his voice.

Unless he's about to go experimental though, I can't see how he can talk about "generic as f*ck" pop music when he's probably recording very generic R&B right now but that's none of my business.
