"Actor Evan Peters was surprised by how down to earth Lady Gaga is when they filmed American Horror Story: Hotel.

The latest series of the popular horror show has seen big names stars like Gaga, who has scored a Golden Globe nomination for her role, and Naomi Campbell join cast regular Evan for some scary fun. Despite Gaga’s A-list credentials, Evan reveals she was completely humble and approachable.

“Well, that's the thing – it is mixed with this otherworldly creativeness,” he laughed to Details magazine when they didn’t believe his claims. “She's on a higher plane whether it is music or fashion and now it's acting. She has immersed herself in the artistic lifestyle. And she has stayed true to herself, which is something that most people can't do - the people surrounding them don't let them do it.

“But she has surrounded herself with people that only accept her for who she is. So it has been enlightening to watch her and see her do her thing, her creative process. I have to say it is inspiring and very cool.”

Everyone loves her on the show, it really says a lot about how uncomplicated and humble she must be on set...  It's beautiful how she's been welcomed to the world of acting

Most artists who meet Gaga in person say this. 

For example, after their duet on The Voice in 2013, Christina Aguilera said this:

I really love his responses when he is getting interviewed. He kept it cool, personal, and honest. Anything he says is so interesting by the way he words them  and I'm not being sarcastic here.
