The first time I saw Gaga was during TFball, but it wasn't some sort of meet and greet thing. So, now that she's coming in my city for BTWtour, I thought it was going to be my chance to see her personally. Take note, I have never EVER did this to any artists that I adore. And I probably will never do it again. Crazy little fan inside me had the idea of waiting for her in the airport, because the last time she went here, she did a mega entrance by the airport and had pix taken with her fans. It was probably 3hrs away from Gaga's known arrival time. I was still at the house, contemplating on whether to go or not to go. I was 2 hrs away from the airport. But a little part of me told myself, I WILL SEE HER--- THIS IS MY MOMENT. I immediately dragged my mom and sis with me. A 2hr travel time shorted to probably 1hr. We literally spent $$$ having to use fast transpo like a cab and something else. There was an additional 30min delay because it was so traffic in the airport area. I was so frustrated knowing that Gaga is only a few minutes away. And by the way, no one announced where Gaga would be. I read on facebook pages that she will be on this terminal X and that other terminal Y which was miles away from each other... some say she won't make a public entrance and go straight to the hotel. We went to terminal X. There was a couple of people having signs, maybe 3-10, waiting for her. We waited for maybe half an hour. Then one personnel informed us that Gaga was going out of terminal Y. WTF. We rushed and got a cab going to terminal Y. Another $$$ from the pocket, and hell, it was traffic too. By this time, it was all dark and this terminal had no signs of fan waiting for Gaga. I was telling myself, probably.... I'm the luckiest fan in the world right now, because I am the only one waiting for her. This part is where it gets really fcking good. The aura changes, I feel like the queen has landed. And I definitely was right. I saw those black box tour stages thingys coming out of the terminal door. There came a few of the dancers, and I kinda low-key notice one of her makeup artists. At this point in my life, I barely recognize them. I don't know their names, but I knew they were on Gaga's team. The biggest hint was, they had BTW badges!!!!!! Fck fck fck. This was my moment. Idk how will I talk to Gaga and all those sh1t things I would do if I see her. Finally, their ride already left as I saw them leaving. Half an hour passed, I was wondering why Gaga isn't still here. And the bigger question that struck me, where wasn't there any member of the press, like paps? That was the moment that hinted me. I still had hope though. I told myself, maybe her private jet hasn't landed yet. Another hour passed, and finally... one of the airport personnel told us that Gaga landed first, but she was taken to a car directly and left without making a big entrance, just like what she did during her last visit. At that point, I was tired. My sis and mom were tired. We decided to go home empty handed. Do you wanna know what's the worst part of this whole fcking mega-long-ass story that I wrote? Spoiler Gaga went directly through the hotel, as told by some of the fan pages on FB. She did a grand public entrance there. Many fans knew this about the last minute and they were able to rush there. People got a chance to see her in person, for about 4-5 feet away from her. Those fans had a chance of their lifetime. I met her in February 2009 as the PCD opening act before she majorly blew up. She wore the (now) iconic FameGa Versace glasses, her dark green latex bustier (without the origami) and a Chanel quilted jacket. I just ran to the back entrance and she came out like an hour later. She was so cool. We talked for like 5 minutes about art, music, and New York. It was just me and another fan so she was totally down to talk and was so chill. I do not trust meeting my female songstresses, as I have had bad experiences with every female idol so far and I am fair about calling out only the females. I have never had bad experiences with any of the male idols, performers, artists. I do want to be around Gaga at least once and I hope that she is wearing flat shoes, because I want to see how tiny she is up close and I want to see how we compare in size, because I am little like her, maybe even smaller, okay, even smaller. lol I doubt that will ever happen though, when is she not wearing her towering heels and do so while meeting fans?!! Also, I would of course be wearing my own towering heels, so yeah, this will never be possible to happen. But, I can wish on the experience~ The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
