Well, that's just 100% speculation.

Which is fine, I just gave my own opinion and you know I prefer to stay away from theories like this. All I know is what she has said: that she constantly records and can put songs on albums we'll never hear at any time, that she has not yet decided on the direction of her album (unless Bobby lied, and I know you think that for your own reasons but I think that's a step too far) and that even if she has recorded for twenty years, we can't assume that she won't ditch all of it for stuff she can still record. That is all.

That's definitely not true. Apparently you don't know him. He talks a lot when the day is long and no one takes him seriously in germany. It was a publicity stunt from him, he made some trash and became a reality star

we'll see ^^ Of course it wasn't the main point of my post  I still think she has worked with people we don't know on LG5, even if that DJ Tomek is not one of them ^^

tbh, I think all the songs are written, some are already recorded, but wich will make it on the album, wich will be the singles still have to be chosen

I think they're just choosing tracks at this stage.

Gaga has been in the Studio with producers all year, and has had access to filming studios without arousing suspicion. I also refused to believe that the time spent with Dianne Warren was just for one song.

12 hours in the Studio with Mark Ronson is a long time. I believe he will be the executive producer for the album.

We saw less synths and mixing boards in photos and ALL real instruments. Pair that with Ronson and I think the album will be almost "back to black" in quality.

She recorded and filmed I want your love undetected. Take that as an indicator.

They're keeping quiet. They could be at song 1 or song 30.

We should also remember that the only reason we know about her and RedOne being in the studio is that she chose to share that info with us. If not for their instagram posts, we would be completely left in the dark about it. Which means that there's bound to have been activity in the studio/behind the piano/at the drawing board that we are not aware of. Because, let's face it, even though she has had major projects this year (Oscars, C2C tour, AHS), relatively speaking she must have had loads of time to work on LG5, as compared to how busy she was while writing LG2-4.

And some people might forget that she has been writing from as early as spring 2014 (as said in this [x] interview). The creative process has been going on for a looooooong time, so I highly doubt that she still has to pull concepts out of thin air. Certainly there must be a few songs that are already far into the process (potential lead singles, or simply songs that she knows are too good to not use). Other than that I think she simply has a large pool of demo's, concepts and lyrics, but she has yet to decide which part of that pool will become the bulk of the album.

So my guesses are she's at about 80% in terms of writing, 65% in terms of composing/producing and maybe 40% in terms of mastering/final recording/perfecting. But I also think that a lot of the planning aspects of the album still need to be done. Gaga will probably want to take her time to plan out and maybe even film some of the music video's ahead of the release, in order to make sure that her vision will be well-executed and clean.

At this point of her career she can practically take as much time as she wants to do so, because she has a nice and steady reputation going on right now where people are not expecting too much, yet still anticipating something, sometime. She's in a perfect breeding environment for a commercial release, so I hope she puts that time to good use.
