I'll highlight the piece on education, because I agree with you. The great thing about the system as it is, is that it already costs the Federal government around 66 BILLION dollars a year to pay for all those federal grants etc. The current annual cost of all public university tuition? 70 BILLION. Very close. The problem is very fixable and could create an opportunity for the focus of education to shift from "where is the money" to "where is the brains and work ethic". That's the focus I want to see education take. Appreciate the conversation, keep up the work and congratulations on everything you're achieving. Also forgot to mention that education is a scam and business by the government. If they wanted to help peopel truly they would make it AFFORDABLE not free. They could if they wanted to but wont because they are in the pockets of others. Its evil actually, Ty. GL with your business as well!

Why shouldn't health care be a right? I personally can understand people who think higher education shouldn't be a right, but I don't get the health care argument. Health care is what has advanced humanity in the past 100-200 years with all the improvements we've made. Why shouldn't everyone have access to medicine and procedures? Health care should affordable not free. I dont think Gov should be in the business of healthcare. Look how they run everything else... Also we cant afford free healthcare. we are 20 trillion in debt. I look at the constitution for rights and freedoms. These are our basic freedoms and privileges with being a citizen. I dont think our founding fathers wanted the gov in peoples lives so much. There is this myth that some people cant get medicine.... Poor people get Medicaid and elderly get medicare that provides these services. Also people can walk into any hospital and get services (by giveing a fake name which i dont like either but happens) the people in the middle are geting screwed with costs they cant afford. Not the poor or elderly.

I think the argument that it should be a right just works towards making it affordable though, but I see your perspective.

I think saying "a right and free" is the easy way out instead of really getting to the the problem and fixing it. Especially with today politicians. Especially with today politicians. Oh I disagree completely. I think it is a MUCH bolder and tough sell to try and get something like Healthcare to be re-identified as a right. As for "getting to the problem", you've identified more than once the success of medicare. The idea is simply having medicare for all. That's a very logical and encompassing fix. FDR was the president that proposed expanded American rights (and is incidentally heralded as one of the greatest American presidents of all time) Bernie is finally lifting up the torch again and saying we can do better as a society.
