Will Sia ever attempt to write for Gaga ?

No, Gaga is perfectly capable of writing her own music, if she does I'd love for it to be in a collaboration with Bonnie Mckee.

"It is those cracks or minor flaws that create one's lyrical identity and illuminate individual thought and that's why it's easy to figure out the writer behind such songs."

As a songwriter myself, I couldn't agree more. :applause:

But yes, I do think that Sia wanted to work with Gaga at one point. She said she absolutely loves Gaga, but also that they're both very different. If Gaga ever decides to write a power ballad with dark vibes (like Princess Die for example), then Sia is probably the right co-writer to work with.

Would honestly love to hear what they could come up with, two of my favourites and undoubtedly two of the most talented in the industry right now (alongside adele)

in my opinion, they can co-write a song together but I don't want Gaga to sing a song that someone else wrote....

By the way, actually she's been writing all the songs......but she gives credits to anyone who helps in the songwriting and production process:)

do you write? Can you tell more about it? How is it going?!

Yes i do write, if i don't i might metaphorically explode, it really is my greatest passion in life. To tell you more about it well at first i sucked once i started applying rhythm and how to properly use rhyme i got better and once i found my lyrical identity that's when i became "good" at it (although keep in mind one's lyrical identity can always grow and develop, lyrical identity is like one's personal style or thought process through lyrics). Regardless i'm still learning and i'm still young so i'm no there yet in terms of being considered "GREAT". How is it going , well to be honest with you i'm very tough with myself, i expect myself to be productive and force myself to write 1-3 songs a day while those songs don't turn out awful and pretty good, i usually am not satisfied with their quality and it might be me just being critical with myself also i tend to give them out. Although sometimes something would hit me/come to me and that's when the magic starts happening where i truly become satisfied with the body of work. The only downside is productivity greatly decreases cause where i can have 1-3 songs done in a day with those sometimes i get 1-3 songs a week but hey quality over quantity i guess. I'd also like to stress there are two main ways of writing , writing from scratch and writing to a produced beat/instrumental melody , the later is way easier cause you are tailoring the words to fit perfectly with the beat/melody but a bit of sincerity is lost. Writing from scratch is way harder and is a bit more advanced cause you have to make up the rhythm/melody in your head while writing or at least have a sense around it. I know for a fact that Taylor Swift only opts for this method, with this method the lyrics are as honest and raw as possible cause they are not being tailored or changed to match something. I write from scratch , it's my only option, i don't play any musical instrument and i don't know how to produce. Also for anyone who aspires to get into songwriting do not underestimate the rules of poetry specifically lyrical poetry and poetic meters. Sorry for the long answers but i hope this gave some helpful insight.

Apart from the fact that I'm not really feeling that collab, it could turn out to be detrimental for Gaga. Sia has already established herself as a solid pop act, that's probably why many artists are refusing to include a collaboration with her on their albums, because it ends up being "the song Sia wrote for you" and even if Gaga writes most of it, that's what many people are going to believe.

This is the one and only truth. But Lady Gaga really has to not give a **** about that kind of thing, because it's everywhere. They'll all try to deny as much as they want that she has any talent.

I don't really care for most of Sia's work-for-hire pop songs, so I would be a bit skeptical at a collab. Her work just feels meh and paint-by-numbers to me atm, though I thought her older material from the early 00s was good.

So nice to hear this. I just made up words or have some really good sentence that drives the rest. Just writting the poem and put music to it is to difficult to me.

I feel like i only have one finished one song though. It's really hard work
