Versace 7,860
Sia has basically worked with everyone at this point do you think the reason Sia hasn't written something for Gaga thus far , is cause she knows Gaga is a songwriter but then again they can plan a session and co-write a song, Gaga has been co-writing ever since THE FAME but apparently Gaga alone is writing the lyrics of LG5. Tbh as a songwriter for 5 years myself (not that i've gone far with it, i mostly write for regular non-famous people although it's my dream to make it as big as Sia in terms of writing one day) i'm against co-writing unless there is something that draws me to the other person, they need to have a lyrical identity that i can feed off or one that can merge with mine , oh and i'm so against group writing. Let me tell you why cause once a group works together to write a song, they will eventually perfect it but you see it is those cracks or minor flaws that create one's lyrical identity and illuminate individual thought and that's why it's easy to figure out the writer behind such songs examples: Sia (Dark undertones) , Bonnie Mckee (Teen Pop vibes), Linda Perry (Vulnerability tunes). Do you guys want Sia to fully write a song for Gaga or do you guys want them to co-write something or even better do you guys want them to vocally and lyrically collaborate or should these two artists never collaborate in any shape or form. Mobster 14,604
Both are my favs, but I don't want them to collaborate in any shape or form But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
Hecturr 1,921
Sia said in an interview that she doesn't ever really co-write with people unless she's interested in the artist in question. Also, she says she's very controlling about her songwritining, and ofter worry about bulldozing over her co-writers when writing songs. So I doubt it'll happen, but you never know. I'd love to see them working together.
Edonis 28,624
I would love for a collaboration between the two at some point whether it is writing, vocals, etc. because I think they share similar artistic views and have a goal in mind as to how they want their music/art to come across. But I don't know if they would work together. I think they need that connection (like you said) and desire to create together because that's clearly how Gaga works lol. Hecturr 1,921
Just now, Versace said: She co-wrote with Adele and Katy so i'm sure she won't mind Gaga True, she apologized to adele because she thought she'd been a control freak during the songwriting process though. elijahfan 24,877
tbh, it's like Sia is the only songwriter in the world. Like everyone getting a Nicki Minaj featuring. It has become so common and basic. I like Sia, but a Gaga collab is really not something I would anticipate.
GloZell Green 11,723
I want them to collab. They could make the ballad of the century if they tried bh Lady Gaga | Shakira
Mobster 14,604
Apart from the fact that I'm not really feeling that collab, it could turn out to be detrimental for Gaga. Sia has already established herself as a solid pop act, that's probably why many artists are refusing to include a collaboration with her on their albums, because it ends up being "the song Sia wrote for you" and even if Gaga writes most of it, that's what many people are going to believe. But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
arthurhmangum 4,408
It would be cool if they worked together. She makes nice music for other artists. Stressed, depressed, but well dressed.
User 352
She worked with producers and not singer songwriters, she gaved them credits for each small addition or tip and because they synchronized the music with lyrics - Gaga and they regulated the dance pop hit factor. Didymus 34,379
Gaga shouldn't let her go near her. You know how everyone will interpret that: Gaga's desperate for a hit. And to be completely honest, if I heard the two were writing together, I'd think so too.
RainingOnMe 7,250
Nope because Gaga is fully capable of writing on her own.
malazam 15,710
in my opinion, they can co-write a song together but I don't want Gaga to sing a song that someone else wrote.... By the way, actually she's been writing all the songs......but she gives credits to anyone who helps in the songwriting and production process:) do you write? Can you tell more about it? How is it going?! another shot before we kiss the other side
