Agreed My god, I hope she extends it a bit for LG5. TIHTY was so perfect for me vocally, I know a lot of people disliked it but it's what I wanted from her for a long time

Did it not occur to you that it's likely to be intentional, given that the song is supposed to be about being broken?

Perhaps she hit the wrong notes at times, but I'm chalking that up to her being emotional about the whole thing. Not to mention that she's singing a personal song (that she has previously admitted to being difficult for more reasons than one) to a whole audience on live.

Completely disagree. Yes she is capable of delivering emotion and notes at the same time, but rape is not light weighted on anyone. she almost cried yesterday in front of an audience when they asked her about her rape story that happened 10 years ago, i believe she´s allowed to feel VERY pressured and nervous when singing a song about her clearly traumatizing experiences in front of her peers and world. also, you cant call a 30 sec video a bad performance. we still have to see 2min+ of it left. yes she didnt hit the notes right and we cant defend those 2 awful  seconds, but you cant invalid her feelings regardless of her abilities as a singer....i did complain about those notes but i think the rest of the performance was promising, well have to wait before we draw a stone judgment

I'm not critical of what we've heard of the performance so far but that's just an obvious patched up excuse fans come up with I mean, even with her Gala performance people did that even though her voice was CLEARLY exhausted and not fit for performing (which fans claimed to not even hear).

I mean, I agree that you shouldn't exaggerate things (her high note was good here, her voice cracked up once and it doesn't bother the melody) but there's no reason why we should come up with stupid theories like this either

"Stupid" theories? Practice what you preach Didymus.

Her first attempt at sounding broken probably came off worse than she would have liked. She probably improved upon it for this performance. Dope is another song that's supposed to sound broken that always came out less than perfect for the same reasons, except that TIHTY is louder at times making it more difficult to maintain.

It's a possibility and not one you should throw away lightly, especially when you have no proof otherwise.

Oh come on man, her voice was exhausted and powerless throughout the entire Gala performance, not just for TIHTY, open your ****ing eyeballs I couldn't believe that fans couldn't just accept the obvious in that thread, and now I'm actually gonna say something about it in this one 'cause it's just so unecessary!

There is no way she would actively make herself sound technically worse just to prove a point. She's perfectly capable of translating emotion without disrupting her technical skill (as she has proven over and over again).

Now again: I love TIHTY and I'm perfectly satisfied with the snippets. I just think it's stupid for fans to come up with theories for slight imperfections in everything she does. So her voice cracked once at one note, so what, that is a very tough part to sing. It's as easy as that.
