I really like Adele, she is halarious, a gifted song writer, and has a beautiful voice. I love 19 and 21. That being said I don't think Noel Gallagher's criticism is unfair, at least not when it comes to Adele's new album.

25 is a turd. Handing over the song writing reins to hit makers was a mistake, working with people like Greg Kurstin and Max Martin over Rick Rubin was a mistake. 25 is a collection of colorless songs that her team knew would sell like hotcakes at Starbucks and Barnes and Nobel. Old people and tweens eat that melodramatic schmaltz right up, because they don't like to be challenged or moved by music.

If you stuck a straw in 21 and sucked out all the soul and heartache, you'd be left with 25.

Noel Gallagher's criticism is unfair. "Music for ****ing grannies" shouldn't be a way to say that an album is bad. Since when does old women have bad taste in music? 

Your opinion, his opinion, and my opinion about the album are just that, opinions. There are many people who have been moved my the songs on 25. Also saying that old people and teenagers don't like to be challenged or moved by music is a lie and it's a prejudice of an age group.

Everyone can share their opinion about the album but he/you don't have to be disrespectful towards it and the people who like it. That's where an opinion becomes an insult.

 All of this! People are soooo pressed about her unbelievable success. Those records aren't moving though, no matter how many "opinions" people fill themselves with and shout out at every chance given.
