Didymus 34,380
Gaga. Her vocal sound is better for this song and even technically she's better: Bey goes off-key a couple of times and her body language is just blah, while Gaga brought something fresh and exciting to the table. 2007 5,291
Let me vote gaga first before watching Beyoncés cover edit: gagas cover is sill much better, actually beyonce sucked the life out of it.
Didymus 34,380
Watched it again and my memory was correct. This really is not a good Beyoncé performance. There's an insecurity in her eyes and her voice that's quite surprising. Gaga, on the other hand, owns everything about the performance
Kattys 4,319
Gaga -suit -vocals (shy quiet vocals don't fit for me) -stage better too

The Child 18,997
Mind if I do the same thread but with comparing Gaga to Xtina actually cause they both slayed the cover IMO. Unlike Beyonce ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Klou 2,414
Come on guys... Has Gaga even ever lost in a poll like this on GGD?
Ziggy 11,957
Ok, let's look at this honestly. Beyonce has always been straight up pop since she was a kid. Her voice and presence were not trained to cover this song whereas you look at Gaga and you know she's been familiar with this song since before rehearsals and the performance. Plus, being a big, emphatic musical number makes this Gaga's forte over Beyonce's. She tried making it to her more comfortable style, but it doesn't ultimately work out. They're both super talented, but this is much more Gaga's wheelhouse.
