My prediction is that "Glory" will win. Grammys are usually in February and that's Black History month. Also, that performance at the Oscars this year was good. The chorus of Glory is pretty powerful though, but I don't think its a clear winner imo. Especially if Gaga performs it at the Grammys, I think she would send a powerful message. andy232000 11,362 Posted December 8, 2015 Share Posted December 8, 2015 i just listen to all of the songs nominated Earn it: i dont really see why it got nominated. the only thing i found interesting were the chord arrangements and the instrumental. i like it has a very sexy ambient but it gets lost halfway through the song. vocally its normal Glory: Very predictable and typical song for this themes, no originality. the lyrics are very beautiful at the begining but fall flat rapidly after the first verse. emotion wise its very charged and vocally its very good. except for some rap parts the song flows very well. Love me Like You Do: just another typical pop song, nothing innovating. lyrics and arrangements are just alright, some violine chords are very nice and complement the song well, but it has no emotion and vocal delievery is normal just like earn it See You Again: beautiful song. the instrumental and arrangements are not unique or original but the lyrics fit in soo well and the song just flows in its simplicity. the vocals are on point but not so much or emotion compared to glory Till it Happens to Yoy (ill try not to be biased): in the chord aspects, this one kicks the **** out of all the others. the instrumental and the piano along with the strings just make this one beautiful composition that defentely strikes a cord in you. its by far the most unexpected instrumental. Vocally we know gag and ha power. this one is probably the strongest vocals or at least head to head with SYA or Glory. the only problem i see is that the vocals may be "a little too much". there might be a lot going on in the song that the simplicity of SYA and Glory could overthrow TIHTY. Emotion wise it has the biggest charge and the theme of sexual assult is really present in the song. overlall it all goes down in between Glory, TIHTY for me Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
