2007 5,291
Did gaga perform twice? was her performance edited? Sound check? What's up? I just watched the performance that got aired on TV, I couldn't help but notice there were some differences in this performance than the one recorded by someone in the audience. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1205713039443341&id=171395032875152 @1:32 she complement the dancers "Nice to see you ladies...." And @2:07 she says "cmon sweetheart take a spot it's my birthday... " And when she sings "These little town blues.." She's was at the bottom of the stairs, when in the version we got she was at the top. Plus the finale wasn't the same either @3:00 Audience recorded version: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1205713039443341&id=171395032875152 Tv version: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1182536138426378&id=291828757497125 If I'm missing something plz someone enlighten me... malazam 15,710
I noticed that too....I'm really confused, someone just save us, please? The performance aired have parts from the one that the audience recorded too, the first time shei's in the stairs and I think the final too (not the last 'new york' but the one before it) another shot before we kiss the other side

soundwave 193
She had to perform twice because the canons didn't go off.
Curunir 7,510
They messed up the timing with the confetti cannons the first time, so she had to sing it again. Both versions are so amazing I don't know which one I prefer I like the ending more of the one where she hits that high note really fast, but in the second one she belted some amazing vocals much longer

Why the **** would they repeat a whole performance for a confetti? If that was the problem they could've easily called me, I'm ready to cover that up for them and edit it. who can even tell the difference??
jezze0410 393
Someone (crushedlemonice, I think) posted this on another thread: "The TV audience will see this explosive number once, but we saw it twice. A malfunction of the confetti cannons forced Gaga to do it all over again. It was only right that she got it right. Sinatra, on this night or any other, deserved the best of the best." http://lasvegassun.com/blogs/kats-report/2015/dec/04/frankly-it-takes-a-bevy-of-stars-to-properly-honor/ Should answer your question. Doogi 1,507
So the first time, because of the confetti cannon mishap, she had to stop the performance and start over? In front of a live audience? Wtf? I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.
FlopSlurper 34,336
They took some parts from the rehearsal and added them to the live performance.

Wtf? she didn't stop the performance, she just performed the whole thing twice just because the confetti didn't go off at the end How awkward it have been for her and the audience to repeat whole performance for such cause , but atleast she received a standing ovation twice
