For whatever reason, it's OK for the media to hate on Gaga and critics seem to be harder on her. I do think that she has gained a tremendous amount of respect among "normal people". (lets face it, we are not normal people on here). She should see more commercial success but I just can't fathom her being able to sell 3 million albums in 1 week. That's a bit delusional and extremely wishful thinking. None the less, I could not be more excited for LG5, I know she will sell at least one copy... to me. Super unlikely at least in terms of sales this pause and work with classier stuff merely helps her gain some respect mamy still associate gaga woth crazy and desperate and shes have to maintain this current toned down style with jazz and stuff for a long time before she lost that immage/reputation among many also the older generation wont be voting for vmas or engaging in the media that much. Maybe some will buy her album but dont expect much media hype by winning a few older fans and her momentum is gone in hype and attention to the gp. She will have to regain it. Im not saying she cant, but dont expect popularity to the heights she had during TFM era. That peak is gone. Just about every legend peaks in his or her first 5 years LG5 if done right has potential and im sure she can do very well.
