For me, it's hair.. Every single lyric is applicable to my life in some way or another.. This song has probably been my favorite out of her entire discography. I remember the day it came out, I thought it was the best thing I have ever heard! Lol. I just realized the other day that the message of this song is talking about the exact same thing I have been going through lately.. which is accepting myself yadayada... not feeling like I can be myself.. I just really love this song.

Marry the Night is the story of my life

EDIT: oh, and Born This Way but everybody does, lol

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Like 90% of them tbh. I'm sort of past that phase of wanting to be accepted so Hair, which it's amazing, has left me somewhat.

So Swine and Dope

Head Empty

Bad Romance and Heavy Metal Lover, which is odd because I've never had a romantic/sexual relationship in my life :emma:

Bad Romance really got me in touch with my "dark" side and is a constant reminder to me that it's okay to have "bad" qualities, and that they shouldn't be repressed. As for HML... I really can't put my finger on it but it just gives me a really familiar and comforting feeling. For some reason it feels like "home" or something, which sounds really ****ed up now that I think about it :laughga:

Edit: Wait how did I forget DITD :duck:

So Happy I Could Die.

The lyrics are comforting to me. I am truly happy when I am intoxicated because my fears and anxiety goes away for the next 4-6 hours. Plus, I used to 'comfort' myself through the night to prevent the feeling of being lonely and unloved - something that was a personal struggle for me growing up.

In my messy era.
