This song has probably been my favorite out of her entire discography. I remember the day it came out, I thought it was the best thing I have ever heard! Lol. I just realized the other day that the message of this song is talking about the exact same thing I have been going through lately.. which is accepting myself yadayada... not feeling like I can be myself.. As for HML... I really can't put my finger on it but it just gives me a really familiar and comforting feeling. I am truly happy when I am intoxicated because my fears and anxiety goes away for the next 4-6 hours. Plus, I used to 'comfort' myself through the night to prevent the feeling of being lonely and unloved - something that was a personal struggle for me growing up. In my messy era.
