How will the GP respond to LG5?

With the exception of a few things, it's pretty much safe to say Gaga has been nearly nonexistant to the GP since 2011. LG5 is definitely going to be considered a major comeback for her. 'ARTPOP' was much different because the GP still saw her as the "meat dress" girl. But over the past year, Gaga has done some things that may have proven some otherwise. So when she comes back with new music next year, how will the GP react? Adults? Kids? Teens? Elders? Will they give her another chance or will they completely blow her off thinking she's still the "weird" girl she was in 2009-11

i honestly dont get why fans are so caught up with 'how gp will react' with everything gaga does. i'd be happy if she releases new music and good music that she's proud of. that'll be enough.

The first single will determine that and I'm definitely thinking she will reach for a new audience too tho- especially since she has matured a lot musically and as a singer.

It's always a combination of well executed promo and the music. I think we may be in for her next #1 if all the cards are played right.

they will either like the music, or they won't.  It really is that simple.

I personally don't give a rats ass what the GP thinks because the GP in general has bad taste in music.  Sometimes they like music that has actual quality, more often they don't. And in general they can't stand risk.

I totally think she's coming for Adults… you know, the ones who can actually buy music? Not teens and children, it's smart of them to do that. Bobby even said in BB they're looking for a new audience for #LG5.

I don't care about Gaga being popular. But a part of me wants her to have a massive comeback and have a ****ing amazing hit that makes all the haters stan again and then all the people who ever gave us **** for liking lady gaga get a big finger in the face because the person they love to hate has turned them into closet little monsters.

 

When she did that talk a few weeks ago about almost quitting music and suffering with anxiety I had so many people telling me that they changed their opinions of Gaga and these people always criticised me for being a fan and always said horrible things about Gaga. I have to say its a wonderful thing when you can change people's opinions especially when they were previously so negative and unpleasant. I can't stand negativity and b---hiness. And unfortunately Gaga is a person that people love to hate because they judge her at face value and don't see what she is truly all about.

I mean, the GP took to ARTPOP's singles pretty well. It's just a lack of management. G.U.Y. had impressive views for a song that was played on the radio like.... Once.

Now that Gaga's image AND management is on fleek now, I think she's going to be extremely commercially as well as critically successful.

Honestly, the GP doesn't care as much as we think they do. I feel like they're gonna be like:

OH... Gaga has new Music? Cool.. I'll check it out if I have the time.  *Forgets and then listens to LG5 IF the lead single is good*

Is it wrong that I get really annoyed at people who change their minds about Gaga? I know it's selfish and stupid to get mad when what's really happening is that Gaga is getting more success, but I can't seem to enjoy seeing people start to like her when they were too close-minded to see her talent back in 2010 because they thought she was a man or because she wore meat. If someone says "I changed my mind, now I'm on board with all her crazy costumes," I will support it. If they say "I'm so glad she got rid of those ridiculous outfits," it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

If she does great, carchy and mature music. And more music than shocking values (which is not working anymore), I definitely think she get the GP back.
