611 000 WW for the first two weeks (with first week with Japan sales only)... it was so good. the biggest debut WW by a female in 2013 before Beyoncé.

The tragic DWUW situation ruined everything

We all knew in 2013 those were the only females that would outsell her in the near future, so I'm not really impressed by this.

I mean, she really does have only a handful of competition in terms of album sales. i think people forget that sometimes. Add Katy and Rihanna to that list and there you have it - the other pop girls just don't even come close to that group.

So without aiming to bring her down, what's the point of praising her for being the outsellable one of the major pop females? :rip: If Katy and Rihanna had released, maybe all of her competition would've outsold her and what would we have said then.

Edit: Before people jump, I never gave a **** about commercial success and I hope everyone knows that. If I wanted to drag Gaga I would not go down this road. Just seeing things in a different light here.
