Nino 12
It's something siad many times by her detractors in recent years but have you ever really considered what it means in the context of Lady Gaga's success? Her "flop" years have given her a grammy, 2 massively successful tours, critical acclaim, close professional relationships with industry legends, 2 diamond certifications etc etc. When 2012-now is labeled as some tragic decline all they're really doing is making her legacy look even bigger. She's been achieving things that most artists could only ever dream of and it's a low point for her, think of what that means for her peak. All this "Lady Flopga is over" talk just really serves to further that her impact on pop culture and her commercial success during the TFM era was unrealistically massive. This brings me to a question, are the massive hordes of pressed individuals labeling LG as a flop just further contributing to her legendary status as an artist then? Mobster 14,604
"Lady Gaga is over" is so pre Sound of music medley But I'm only a man and I do what I can.
ViviLittleM 3
I think they say that because of the huge decline, in album sales and tour grosses.

monketsharona 84,027
ARTPOP era wasn't very satisfying. Gaga admitted herself that fact. Haters used that to say 'she's over'. But since when an artist is over when he/she underperform with ONE album. Gaga has 4 other albums that were successful. And 2015 is enough to show they were absolutely wrong. Haters are not ready for 2016 and Lady Gaga's return to pop music.

mariomania1234 11,368
People were terrified of the highs that she reached in her imperial phase. The underperformance of ARTPOP is all they have to latch on to. 2015 has proved them wrong and it's going to be amazing seeing people eat crow when she get's her next #1 single. What's really strange is that some of her contemporaries have performed way worse then what ARTPOP did, yet nobody claimed they were over
