I mean, why not? Legal or illegal, we have two things called The Internet and Torrents. Besides, it's not as if we don't have Hitler 2.0. Reading this could give us a heads up on what Donald is planning next.

Donald? 4 years ago he was a democrat. How about Putin?

Well, I mean, you have Marx in your signature. Would you agree that his works should be banned too? Just a few quotes to remind you:

"Let us consider the actual, worldly Jew -- not the Sabbath Jew, as Bauer does, but the everyday Jew. ... What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.. Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man -- and turns them into commodities. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange. The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general." (1844)

"As for slavery, there is no need for me to speak of its bad aspects. The only thing requiring explanation is the good side of slavery. I do not mean indirect slavery, the slavery of proletariat; I mean direct slavery, the slavery of the Blacks in Surinam, in Brazil, in the southern regions of North America. Direct slavery is as much the pivot upon which our present-day industrialism turns as are machinery, credit, etc. Slavery is therefore an economic category of paramount importance." (1846)

"there is only one way in which the murderous death agonies of the old society and the bloody birth throes of the new society can be shortened, simplified and concentrated, and that way is revolutionary terrorism" (1848)

"We have no compassion and we ask no compassion from you. When our turn comes, we shall not make excuses for the terror." (1849)

"Thus we find every tyrant backed by a Jew, as is every pope by a Jesuit." (1856)

"This young lady, who instantly overwhelmed me with her kindness, is the ugliest creature I have seen in my entire life, with repulsive Jewish facial features." (1861)

;)

Plenty of other examples in his works and among other Marxists and of course the history of violence in communist contexts is well studied. So truly, there is danger in much more than the most obvious symbols of evil.

It's obvious that Marx was a Self-hating Jews. Though I still agree with the communist manifesto.

Makes sense to get rid of such an outdated law. It was freely available on the Internet for anybody who really wanted it.

It's actually one of the most basic rule of the copyright law. You can't "get rid of" it. Bavaria is the assignee of Hitler's books since he had no heir. For 70years, Bavaria could do what they want of the books, and authorities decided to not print it.

Well, maybe someone will be inspired by Mein Kampf in a way that doesn't result in Nazism. That's basically the same thing then.

Hitler didn't kill people by writing Mein Kampf either. Both called for mass violence and there's no reason why someone couldn't read Marx and see a justification of terrorism, slavery, anti-Semitism and violent resurgence in it. So if we're gonna be truthful and consistent with the sensitivity around literature that literally calls for violence, Marxists would have to be banned, the Bible would have to be banned (I mean if there's any book that was used to justify the murder of millions; it's that one) etc.

I'm not defending Hitler but I just think that there's a cultural myth going on where Hitler and everything related to him is seen as an unspeakable evil we can't even talk about anymore. Jewish opposition against anything Hitler related, even to the infamous example of a Jewish boycott of a freakin' cooking show that presented Hitler's favorite food, is ridiculous and standing by it with the usual "but the Jews are victims" arguments is not just irrational but also insulting to other social groups who have faced systematic murder because of perfectly acceptable cultural products.

Well, I disagree with boycotting a show because of the food :rip: Can you give a source for that?
