It's not terrible, but definitely disjointed and not what I was expecting from her as means to kick start a big pop era. I mean BTW and G.U.Y. are both messy, grandiose and overly ambitious, but felt like the proper big budget pop videos they are, whereas Applause just felt like a nonevent to me.
