She's already spoken about that time in her life and how she was forced by the record company to hurry up and move things along even when she was still recovering. You could tell she wasn't happy around that time and I think that's when she lost all enthusiasm for being a star and I think this is the point in her career that she refers to when she says she almost quit music. Before the hip injury, Gaga was unstoppable. She had this drive that nobody else had and I admired her for it. She hardly ever took time off and she was always so busy. I think the injury was a wake up call for her in some ways because she learnt that life is not all about work and she started to have more fun and time for herself. But to be honest I do worry that she will never have that same drive and motivation that she used to have. It's ok if she doesn't because as long as she is happy and being the artist she wants to be that's all that matters. But I feel sorry for her because she worked so hard and then something out of her control happened to **** up her plans. I truly believe that if it wasn't for the injury she would have carried on and the words "flop" "ARTPOP" and "Gaga" would have never been used in the same sentence together. However, life is a b---h and nobody is perfect. We all get given **** to deal with and unfortunately Gaga got this. I think that, originally, the term 'ARTPOP' did not literally emphasize on art history/references, but rather, the beauty of nature, or spirituality/zen. The earliest song written for ARTPOP was the title track itself, and that song has a very spiritual symphony sound to it. You don't deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you. Troy probably would've never left meaning we would've had another decent era Gaga wouldn't have changed the concept of ARTPOP and stuck more to the original theme Aura may have still been lead single with Venus after like it was supposed to...
